Don't be afraid of words. If a gym offers an exercise class without any hindu puja, incense or invoking of hindu gods, and calls it "yoga" because the postures stretch and condition every part of the wonderful body and joints God gave you, the word doesn't make it hindu worship, any more than drinking milk makes you a calf.

Most sources of "yoga" in gyms in America employ the word as a shortcut descriptor, a secular marketing tool.

If there is some form of hindu worship offered at a "yoga" class, Christians can easily avoid patronizing that type of class, and go to the one at Gold's gym just to stretch.
