Good morning Dan, and hello to all!
Dan, I’ve done much study on bronze casting, and casting large bronze pieces is difficult, even today. I can’t imagine how they did such large pieces then (think of the Liberty Bell; how it cracked and it’s small compared to these). We really must admire such craftsmanship in metals, so long ago.
Very inspiring Dan, Thank you!!

Thanks, Leon. Very good to know. Not surprising, I suppose, that along with ordering up these columns God provided the ability to create them.

The ancients were just as smart as we are (same species, after all) and a lot more skilled at some things. Yes, the Liberty Bell cracked, but bell casting was a daily thing back then and most of them didn’t crack. Some are still in use today. What astonishes me is the sheer volume of metal work. That is a LOT of bronze and gold. The Hebrew kingdom of David and Solomon must have been fabulously wealthy almost beyond imagining.
