I believe life begins at conception. That flash of light that occurs shortly after the sperm fertilizes the egg. That in my opinion is the knitting together in the womb that God refers to when he says he knew you before he knit you together in the womb.

Everything after that is growth.

But not everyone agrees with me. And not every Christian agrees with me.

I think we should be preaching the Gospel for salvation. Along the way we should also teach passages such as John the Baptist leaping in the womb at the approach of Mary. And the one I referred to above about God knitting us together in the womb.

It’s fine for that preacher to stand up and say based on this I believe life starts at conception. And abortion stops a beating heart after day 22.

But when he kicks people out of the church because they don’t agree with him, or don’t agree with him yet, he makes a very poor example of pastoral care.

He’s kicking them out for not agreeing with God. However, he’s probably ready, willing and able to welcome them back should they repent. If a pastor doesn’t purge unrepentant evil, he is then allowing the church to condone it. If a congregant is unsure of something like abortion, he should discuss it with the church leaders and members who are well-versed in Scripture. We may not all agree on which hymns we like to sing together, but we should be agreeing on what is clearly told to us by God.

Those individuals aren’t there to see the light, they’re there to undermine the church and the pastor.

The pastor isn't kicking people out who don't agree with him. What kind of church do you attend? Do you all take a vote on whether or not to accept holy scripter? He's repeating and upholding the teachings of Paul. You either follow Jesus or get out. There is no time to quibble with people.

The fields are ripe and the workers are too few to worry about every grain that falls to the ground. If God wants that grain someone else will find it.

Now get on the bus or stand there, there's too many more stops to make to argue with you.
