Sadly, instead of looking into the Scriptures for the Messiah of GOD’s people as they should, (John 5:39) they were more interested in creating traditions that made GOD’s WORD of no effect to HIS people. (Mark 7:13)
We like traditions over the word of God. Why is that?
Which is exactly what Mad Marty did with the protestant revolution. Leave over 1500 years of Christian teaching to form his own church made in his image.
And we’ve seen the results since then: 30k plus denominations, all with their own competing teachings.
It puts us in control, I think.
