WWII???? The Crusades? The author does not know world history - these are easy times, just with instant world wide news.
Not wanting to argue, just compare times. Yes, WW2 was a great and fearful struggle. But at the time, a large proportion of Americans were Bible-believing, God-fearing people. That is quite far from true today.

Pete Garcia is not one of my most favorite authors. I’ve clashed with him in the past regarding his articles. Overall this is not a bad one, but as you mentioned, he doesn’t know his history very well.
