I was so happy when Ratzinger (Rat Zinger?) was elected, but the true "unbelievers" say that all the popes since John XXIII have been false popes. Any Pope who helped to create Vatican II or failed to decry it is suspect in their minds.
Pope John Paul II and Benedict may have been good on morals, but they failed with regard to the child abuse issue and were too eager for ecumenism that crossed the line.
