Most preachers already understand the extravagance of the bottle of perfume, and rightly preach that we should be as extravagant for what we do for Jesus.
The idea that Judas was the only Judean is very interesting all on its own, but the idea that Jesus’ saying about the poor is more about the “government” stealing the money as the source of keeping people poor is really a game changer if that was the context.
