For some, a complete rejection of any and all notions of atonement theology is needed.
Then why is there Christianity at all if there is no atonement? The atonement is the ONLY thing that matters. If our sins are not atoned for then we must atone for them, through an eternity separated from God in hell.
Maybe he should just go full Islam. At least there he gets boys who are like pearls and forever young. Let's see how that works out for him.
