Good Post Ebb. A giant of the Faith. Note at one point his criticism is that Catechism not faithful to V2. And BTW, Schoenberg sp? went a little wonky later

I suffered through 12 years of Catholic education in the late 50s and 60s. I memorized the answers to countless questions. What is Extreme Unction? What is Sanctifying Grace? My real answer was always, “Who cares??” But I gave the required answer to avoid a beating. My wife also went to Catholic school. We have never been to a mass in 55 years except for weddings and funerals.
