“certain news that you read or see on television is news that tries to captivate your mind, will, or feelings, trying to become the inner occupier of your person.”
I find that in watching the news this tends to be more true than just reading about it, but even in just reading the news I know when to just cut it off.
It can be challenging in our times.
I totally fail in this because whatever significant current event is going on dominates my consciousness. News junky.
