It seems that Bishop Strickland is trying to do the right thing and call out error and evil within the Church, and he should do that. But he's spitting in the wind here. From the article, Bp. made him a papal counselor!!! I'm assuming that the pope wants to keep him around because he wants to promote Marx's left-wing views.
