Homosexuality is "not a sin," Munich Cardinal Reinhard Marx told the anti-Catholic Stern.de (30 March).
Marx calls homosexuality "love" that shows itself "precisely in the sexual encounter [sic!]", although sin and love are opposites.
Ten years ago, Marx could not have imagined staging a homosexual service, as he did in March.
It "doesn't matter" to him that this “offends" Catholics [and God]. He feels freer to say what he "thinks" and wants to "take Church teaching further" [into the abyss].
Marx believes that God seeks communion with homosexuals. For him, "it is rather sinful to want to push others out of the Church" [for example, by means of Traditionis Custodes].
Those who [like Holy Scripture] warn homosexuals of hell have "understood nothing," Marx claims. He considers the Catechism, which with reference to the Bible refers to homosexual acts as an abomination and sin crying to heaven for vengeance, as "not set in stone."
"One is allowed to doubt what the Catechism says" [if one has lost the faith].

These verses declare homosexuality as a sin. Sin is an existing problem with man. God forgives all sins except one. The one eternal or unforgivable sin (blasphemy against the Holy Spirit), also known as the sin unto death, is specified in several passages of the Synoptic Gospels, including Mark 3:28–29, Matthew 12:31–32, and Luke 12:10, as well as other New Testament passages including Hebrews 6:4–6, Hebrews 10:26–31, and 1 John 5:16. When any sin is repeated and the person uses God to try to cleanse himself/herself so he/she can repeat the sin for any reason including pleasure, then that person has blasphemed God by using his name for justification of the sin.

You are lumping Traditional and modernist Catholics as only modernist Catholics think that.
I give the Catholic Church twenty years before it has another Wittenburg moment.

I guess as long as you’re just practicing and not an expert it’s okay.
Any deliberate sterile sexual intercourse is a sin. Why? Because marital sex is an allegory of the Trinity. As such it reveals the truth of God’s nature. Sodomy is blasphemy.
