“As a bird that wandereth from her nest, so is a man that wandereth from his place” (Proverbs 27:8).
When a guy gets out of places that God intended for him, he's out of God's will. He'll get no rest, that bird will be get no rest. The nest is a place for rest; no comfort, no assurance, no protection. By getting out of the place God intended for him, he is forced to be a wanderer, both physically and spiritually.
“When the most High divided to the nations their inheritance, when he separated the sons of Adam, he set the bounds of the people according to the number of the children of Israel” (Deuteronomy 32:8).
This has to do with God setting the bounds of the people, according to the sons of Adam. He set boundaries, and they were not to get out of those boundaries.
“And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation; That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us” (Acts 17:26-27).
These are places for people to be, that they might find Him, and that they might be in his will, and that's why the devil wants people moving around. He wants the black man with a white man, or a white man with the yellow man. He wants the whole thing integrated so that he can keep people from finding God, because in Acts 17:26-27, God put man in certain places that they could find Him, and when they get out of place it's hard for them to find Him.
Of course, if a man is not in a local New Testament Bible-preaching church, he is like a bird that's out of his nest. No help, no assurance, no real feeding. Church is a place of food. You see one of these scrawny little birds, with hardly any feathers on him. He looks like he went through a hail storm flying backwards. Why, that’s the way some Christians look. Just beat to within an inch of death by the world, when they stay away from the church and don’t get the fellowship and the comfort and the food that they need.
