John 6:56&57 he who is eating my flesh, and is drinking my blood, doth remain in me, and I in him. 'According as the living Father sent me, and I live because of the Father, he also who is eating me, even that one shall live because of me; [KJV version]
Was Jesus physically 'eating' The Father? No, but Jesus was SPIRITUALLY sustained by the Father in HIM SPIRITUALLY! The flesh profits nothing. It can be crucified and buried. It is The Spirit that gives LIFE, not the flesh. So just to make sure His dull of hearing disciples had a clear understandign of the godly sarcasm, Jeus siad:
John 6: 61-65 And Jesus having known in himself that his disciples are murmuring about this, said to them, 'Doth this stumble you?
if then ye may behold the Son of Man going up where he was before?
the spirit it is that is giving life; the flesh doth not profit anything; the sayings that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life;
but there are certain of you who do not believe;' for Jesus had known from the beginning who they are who are not believing, and who is he who will deliver him up,
and he said, 'Because of this I have said to you -- No one is able to come unto me, if it may not have been given him from my Father.'[Young's Literal Translation]
The way The Father sustained Jesus is the way Jesus is sustaining those who SPIRITUALLY take Him into their spirit. You don't carnally eat what is spiritual not carnal.
Jesus stated that where two or more are gathered in His name, there is He int he midst of them. Gathering to even pretend to defy what God commanded to not do is NOT GATHERING IN HIS NAME! Jesus is not int he midst of blasphemous behavior, regardless of how decorated the place of such blasphemous ritual, reagrdless of what incantations pedophile priests utter, regardless of how brainwashed the adherents are to the blasphemous rituals insulting God as if He is unable to keep a straight course SPIRITUALLY, and command such.
When we say your chosen religion of Catholicism is a work based religion, not Grace based, we refer to the ritualistic striving. Jesus tells you repeatedly in John 6 that He gives eternal life, not by/on the basis of what you strive to work but on the faith one places in Him alone ... placing faith in what you have done, what strivi9ngs you have accomplished IS NOT PLACING YOUR FAITH IN HIM. Believing in what HE ACCOMPLISHED brings spiritual life, and that life is eternal life, by God’s Grace never by your striving regardless of how decorated are the rituals and how flowery the incantations uttered by a priesthood rife with men of abomination.
