C'mon man... cut a brother some slack here... This no name Thief is special !

29 For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the first-born among many brethren.
30 And those whom he predestined he also called; and those whom he called he also justified; and those whom he justified he also glorified.

From Henry:

4. Whom he justified, them he also glorified.
The power of corruption being broken in effectual calling, and the guilt of sin removed in justification, nothing can come between that soul and glory.
This encourages our faith and hope; for, as for God, his way, his work, is perfect.
The apostle speaks as one amazed, and swallowed up in admiration, wondering at the height and depth, and length and breadth, of the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge.
The more we know of other things, the less we wonder; but the further we are led into gospel mysteries, the more we are affected by them.
While God is for us, and we keep in his love, we may with holy boldness defy all the powers of darkness.

Oh yes, that thief is very special. God used him to make certification of Jesus's function and authority! Paradise at that time was not Heaven. There were two sides to where Jesus and the thief went. The side Jesus went to was called then 'The Bosom of Abraham.' The thief receive the Grace of God in Christ right there on that hill while being crucified for his crimes.

Were his crimes sins? I don't doubt that. We are given with this scene a man of sin being cleansed of his sins by The Word of The Lord! THAT IS special indeed. However, you make a few assertions that are not accurate but rather are traditions of your religion.

As stated, the assigning of glorified to the thief in that scene is erroneous. Even the use of sanctification is erroneous since sanctification is a process EVER born again member of the Body of Christ undergo in their life following their spirit being redeemed and God's Spirit abiding in them (1 John 3:9), a poster's assertion otherwise not withstanding.

There is also a theme of mixing time stamps of the formation of The Church of all believers (not speaking of the Catholic Org here).

So there ya go, I just went back on my own decision to wash my hands of you. You are too deeply enthralled with catholiciism for me to reach you. I leave you to the Spirit work which God may or may not have in store for you. You may be one of that number coming out of the first part of the Tribulation years, a number so great John could not count them ... and he could count to 200 million, at least.
