Gee whiz bro. I have reading the Bible, for more decades than I want to admit, but I have no idea what you are talking about in your two posts, 2602, and 2607. Can you explain them for me?
Rom 1:20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:We are told that we see through a glass darkly, but here it says we see invisible things clearly. Something invisible happen at the cross. The cross is a figure to help us understand what happen to Christ. When he said “why hast thou forsaken me?” something happened to him that will never happen to us(Heb13:5). Is it possible that the separation of the father and Son is the second death? It is a fearful thing to fall into the hand of the living God. This may explain the fear Christ displayed in the garden when he sweat drops of blood. He knew what was about to happen and he said ”into thy hands I commend my spirit.” In the end he dismisses the “Spirit,”
Acts 24:15 And have hope toward God, which they themselves also allow, that there shall be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just and unjust. The precision of scripture notes that this is one resurrection though it happens in several stages starting with Christ.(Rev.20:5-6)
