Here’s her exact quote. Any mention of Jupiter or Saturn? LOL!
The Lord has given me a view of other worlds. Wings were given me, and an angel attended me from the city to a place that was bright and glorious. The grass of the place was living green, and the birds there warbled a sweet song. The inhabitants of the place were of all sizes; they were noble, majestic, and lovely. They bore the express image of Jesus, and their countenances beamed with holy joy, expressive of the freedom and happiness of the place. I asked one of them why they were so much more lovely than those on the earth. The reply was, “We have lived in strict obedience to the commandments of God, and have not fallen by disobedience, like those on the earth.” Then I saw two trees, one looked much like the tree of life in the city. The fruit of both looked beautiful, but of one they could not eat. They had power to eat of both, but were forbidden to eat of one. Then my attending angel said to me, “None in this place have tasted of the forbidden tree; but if they should eat, they would fall.” Then I was taken to a world which had seven moons. There I saw good old Enoch, who had been translated. On his right arm he bore a glorious palm, and on each leaf was written “Victory.” Around his head was a dazzling white wreath, and leaves on the wreath, and in the middle of each leaf was written “Purity,” and around the wreath were stones of various colors, that shone brighter than the stars, and cast a reflection upon the letters and magnified them. On the back part of his head was a bow that confined the wreath, and upon the bow was written “Holiness.” Above the wreath was a lovely crown that shone brighter than the sun. I asked him if this was the place he was taken to from the earth. He said, “It is not; the city is my home, and I have come to visit this place.” He moved about the place as if perfectly at home. I begged of my attending angel to let me remain in that place. I could not bear the thought of coming back to this dark world again. Then the angel said, “You must go back, and if you are faithful, you, with the 144,000, shall have the privilege of visiting all the worlds and viewing the handiwork of God.”
I suppose you didn’t even give it a second thought to post what she actually wrote? That’s careless (or dishonest).
Revelation 21:27And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life.
Revelation 22:14Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
15For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.
People in the room heard her words and recoded it as witnesses.
Contemporaneous testimony by her SDA supporters.
Sorry.
Unless you produce a tape recording… pffft.
She also plagiarized other authors - frequently.
(Sorry, AMPU, but you were pinged to his post.)
“I suppose you didn’t even give it a second thought to post what she actually wrote? That’s careless (or dishonest).”
Actually, I did read it, Phil. I had not realized that you all are supposed to be the 144,000, or either I forgot it. I thought it was the Jehovah’s Witnesses who believed they were the selected 144,000. (Does 12000x12 mean anything to you?) Also, do the 144,000 include those people EGW met in the other worlds?
“I asked one of them why they were so much more lovely than those on the earth. The reply was, ‘We have lived in strict obedience to the commandments of God, and have not fallen by disobedience, like those on the earth.’”
Can you tell where to find this info in the Bible? For it states that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. Whom to believe? EGW or God Almighty?
“Then I saw two trees ...” Sounds very familiar.
“Then I was taken to a world which had seven moons.” Where is this supposed to be? You asked, “Any mention of Jupiter or Saturn? LOL!” Well, it sure ain’t Earth.
“Wings were given me, and an angel attended me from the city to a place that was bright and glorious.” Why did she need wings? She had an angel attending her. John didn’t need any, so why did she? Maybe she meant to say:
A Vision of a Woman in a Basket
Zec 5:5 Then the angel that talked with me went forth, and said unto me, Lift up now thine eyes, and see what is this that goeth forth.
Zec 5:6 And I said, What is it? And he said, This is an ephah that goeth forth. He said moreover, This is their resemblance through all the earth.
Zec 5:7 And, behold, there was lifted up a talent of lead: and this is a woman that sitteth in the midst of the ephah.
Zec 5:8 And he said, This is wickedness. And he cast it into the midst of the ephah; and he cast the weight of lead upon the mouth thereof.
Zec 5:9 Then lifted I up mine eyes, and looked, and, behold, there came out two women, and the wind was in their wings; for they had wings like the wings of a stork: and they lifted up the ephah between the earth and the heaven.
Zec 5:10 Then said I to the angel that talked with me, Whither do these bear the ephah?
Zec 5:11 And he said unto me, To build it an house in the land of Shinar: and it shall be established, and set there upon her own base.
