The Catholic Church is full of dysfunctional sinners. Not much has changed over 2 millennia, though it is a bit more out in the open now then at points.
It sure is now. Though it has some incredible adherents I personally know, who are great Catholics including opposing Francis. Also love the Church Militant (which one of those friends showed me).
I grew up under a mom who embraced Catholicism as a teenager. Though, she had been Lutheran and We all joined Lutheran church together when I was adult. She still holds to the basics, though.
Found a Catholic Church that has a conservative pastor and he’s become a friend.
Can’t say that about the other two priests who he works with.
When I asked him about it, he said “They’ll learn”.
I’m not so sure.
Jesus is up in heaven just shaking his head. lol They still don’t get it.
Our only hope is Jesus and His sacrifice. You won’t find a perfect church because churches are full of sinners only Jesus is sinless.
Quit keeping your eyes on sinners but focus on Jesus with the focus of a laser. Ask for forgiveness, pray for your enemies and pray for sinners, they will be judged by God alone, not you or me.
