In accordance with a recent decision from a St. Petersburg court, a blasphemous Marylin Manson YouTube video has been blocked in Russia.
The video, which features a montage of photos of the shock rock singer tearing up the Bible, violates articles from the Russian criminal code on the right to freedom of conscience and confession and on incitement of hatred or enmity, the court ruled.
The case was initiated by the Procurator of the Admiralty District of St. Petersburg.
“Providing access to information about the deliberate public desecration of religious literature and symbols offends the feelings of believers, using information and telecommunication services of networks is in fact informational complicity aimed at inciting hatred or enmity on the grounds of attitude to religion, and the violation of the constitutional rights of citizens,” the court said.
Silly joke losers. They can’t even be blasphemous if they tried. Too stupid and pathetic.
She must be related to Charles.
It sounds stupid. I would have guessed it was because of his fake boobies.
Marilyn Manson is a he.
Alice Cooper on Manson:
“Oh, you have a girl’s name and wear makeup. Why didn’t I think of that.”
/and then the feud started
MM directly credits Alice... Both are just showmen. Although I think MM started to believe in his own stage persona just a bit too much the last few years.
Yeah, now he does.
Alice walked into one of his songs and ate his lunch onstage.
MM briefly thought the crowd was going crazy for him.
I tore up the Marxist bible, Das Kapital and used it to light my grill all last summer.
Am I banned?
Sixty years ago, the same trash would have been banned in this country.
Good for them. They see the rot that happened when we stopped defending our culture.
Only in California, New York and DC.
