The prevailing cultural winds always seem to follow mankind’s more base instincts and tendencies. The Church is at its best and true to its mission when it does not flow with those winds but remains a counter cultural rock. Argentine Francis is no rock and at his core is a shallow Peronist. Would not be suprised to learn one day that he has a fascination with the diva Evita and has pictures of her tucked away with his personal belongings
