I don’t know how to break this to you, but in the protestant side of the fence here things aren’t much better. Catholics might as well stay at home at work to fix things there. We are trying this same Sisyphean task over here in Baptist land. At least you know the lay of the land over there... better chance of success. Pray for us an we will for you.

We’re unique here in Louisville in that we have an equally large number of Catholics and Southern Baptists. About a quarter of the population each. But we can’t get a Republican mayor elected and many local officials are liberal loons. Downtown goes close to 100% Dem, many are “Christian” blacks.I blame all the Catholic mass-goers here who vote liberal for the type of leaders we get. Saw a front license plate in the parish two blocks away a couple of Sundays ago reading “ZERO EMISSIONS”. Baptists vote better than us here.
