“Turning the other cheek” in the biblical sense refers to the conduct of personal relations, not a political strategy.
Conservatives would be better served by focusing on WHY our political party refuses to fight for us.

I’ve never thought of Jr. as political material. He’s just a little too much of a showman. And Kimberley makes me cringe. I’ve felt uncomfortable with her since we watched her bouncy leg on The Five years ago.

Again, the teaching about turn the other cheek is to is as followers of Christ. As individuals. It is not a statement to a political party. Don Jr was dumb to use that reference. It did not apply. And to say it is time to stop doing what Christ has commanded individuals to do is not wise.
