This show has increased the number of people brought to Christianity and God, same as thousands of Joel Olsten watchers have been brought to something/come to god.. well, some god anyway.

200 million views doesn't make it great or God inspired. Lady gaga has 300,000,000 more views than that, 22 million dollars in donations? Starwars films make that much money in a day. Views and money doesn't mean much.

So glad someone made up a story ( with very little Biblical reference to work with) for folks like you to explain Simon the zealot and they made up a storyline to show Matthew was socially awkward.

I was using the term "heretical" as something that contradicts scripture - meaning although the writers take a LOT of liberties, I have seen nothing that goes against scripture or basic Christian theology.

Star Wars films rely on buying a ticket to the movie. THIS IS VOLUNTARY, CROWD FUNDED. It doesn’t cost a thing for anyone to watch. It’s also been watched more than 200 million times. There are DVD’s for the 2 seasons which I have loaned . My church
plays the series as it comes out. There’s always a packed house. It has no real advertising and there’s an app for that. You are not required to watch as I have never seen Lady Gaga. I wouldn’t know her if I fell over her.
