Sounds exactly like Purgatory.
Both the muslims and prots reject the Blessed Mother’s perpetual virginity and both reject Her as the Mother of God.
Well, the Bible pretty much rejects Mary’s ‘perpetual’ virginity, as scripture mentions Jesus’ brothers and sisters. Siblings.
It is pretty hard to reject Mary as the Mother of Jesus, who was God incarnate. So, that should settle that. Perhaps you are confusing the rejection of her veneration or deification with something else.
I do not ‘Hate’ Catholics. I do think some of the doctrine is extra-biblical. But, if your hope and trust and faith is in the Risen Christ, then doctrine aside, we are brothers in Christ.
It actually does not.
If those francais blanche drapeau waving idiots had ever followed the lead of their own ancestors, this nonsense of the Jihadists in their own country would not be an issue.
No, they know better than what others of their own blood have realized for 14 centuries.
Fools.
Islam promotes murder. It is a demonic terrorist organization. It’s insane that any Western nation allows Muslims to enter their country.
where the faithful waited
they dont wait there anymore
Before Christ’s death the faithful waited on the one side, and Jesus does not say if one side was higher than another, just that a great chasm spearated the faithful, not in torment and flames not being purged of anything, and the unbelievers, who were in flames and heat and torment
When Christ died he paid for the sins of everyone
was handed the keys of death and hell and hades and as the creeds say, descended to hell
he did this to show he had the power over death and hell,
and he also took those who were waiting for his atoning sacrifice for them to make them clean to enter heaven
and he took all the faithful there
but as Paul says later on, as we all know for the faithful, absent from the body means to be present with the Lord,
the faithful who live after Christs death need not wait anywhere for him to come for them
post crucifixion believers, when we are absent from our body, we are present with the Lord, and He is now in Heaven
and when we die, we will be there also with Him, no delay, nointermediate stop
Moses and Elijah weren't in Heaven as Christ Himself said; "no one has ascended to heaven but He who came down from heaven, that is, the Son of Man" (John 3:13).
John 3:3 was Jesus saying that pre-crucifixion, before His atoning death took place on the cross. Everyone who died was still in Hades, on one side or the other.
Post crucifixion believers do not go to Hades. As Paul explains in the later letters to the churches, believers after Christs atoning death, when they themselves die, go directly to be with the Lord once they depart the body.
Look this is over. Its futile. good night.
