Well.. it’s in the BIBLE! DUH!
That all changed after something happened but I recall what... huh...
51% of American Evangelicals. Despite scripture’s indication that those who are baptized believers are now God’s chosen from every tribe, tongue and nation - American Evangelicals persist in thinking blood heritage and a piece of real estate in the middle east are significant indicators of God’s favor.
That view is consistant with scripture, so why the “shock”?
Another Survey trying to get desired results.
Reads like a push poll.
That’s what I was always taught in Sunday School.
And the other 49% don’t believe the Bible, and are therefore, not Christians.
Well…they are.
It says so in the good book
Galatians 3:27-29 (ESV)
27 For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. 28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s offspring, heirs according to promise.
If they were God’s chosen people they’d be Christian.
RE: Well, they are. It says so in the good book...
It’s in the BOOK that’s the way it will be. Yes. No. Never maybe.
Romans 11:15-23 God cast off the Jews from being His chosen people and grafted in the Gentiles.
God’s Chosen People are those who follow Him.
Jews wrote the Bible so yes they made it so they were God’s chosen people.
Looks like some people failed Venn Diagram chapter in logic class.
The Jewish people being God’s People is not inconsistent with Christians ALSO being God’s People, as we wild branches are GRAFTED IN to the branch.
In fact, that’s exactly what the Bible says.
“God’s Chosen People are those who follow Him.”
That is the best explanation.
What does it mean that the Jews are God’s chosen people?
https://www.gotquestions.org/Gods-chosen-people.html
They always will be God’s chosen people, although they still need to be saved. All other believers are adopted in.
Nothing beats a good marketing campaign . . . and gullible consumers.
I take it you’ve never grafted a branch before.
