The Synod Fathers stated that the Church does not disregard the constructive elements in those situations which do not yet or no longer correspond to her teaching on marriage.
Only an apostate like Bergoglio could find constructive elements in the mortal sin of adultery.

It’s interesting that Bergoglio is now going full-court press on cheap and easy annulments in Italy. He and his ilk seem to be operating on the idea that the Church’s hard teachings on the indissolubility of marriage have driven people away... and relaxing those teachings will bring them back. Like many of their assumptions, it’s false. I don’t know planet Bergoglio is living on, but here on earth there isn’t some huge cohort of divorced-and-remarried-and-fallen-away Catholics who are just chomping at the bit to rejoin just as soon as their first marriages are declared null and void.
One by one, Bergoglio is abrogating the Ten Commandments as he has done with the Mass of All Time. He has even changed the Pater Noster given to us by Jesus Christ, Himself.
It's now Bergoglio's "Church".
