Some (most) believe that "the era of prophets" is over. Well, it wasn't because the prophets disappeared.

John? could be anyone, any man. John Doe. Most common name.

Used, in fact as an "alias" but who's going to *hear* the name that way -- Elias as an alias, because God knows full well how to destroy the wisdom of the wise.
