Sometimes people wonder if it's God's will for them to be healed, but I think it should be clear that God wants you healed. God doesn't have to show you his will because He already has. In Isaiah 52:14 it says, As many were astonished at thee; his visage was so marred more than any man, and his form more than the sons of men. Do you know what that means, Jesus was so disfigured until he did not even look like a man. And yet in Isaiah 53:10 it says, Yet it pleased The Lord to bruise him (crush him). And it pleased him because He had you on his mind. Why would He come down from heaven and allow himself to be whipped to shreds for your healing (Isaiah 53:4,5) to say to healing when you need it. What sense does that make, NONE.
What makes anyone think they are unworthy when it's all an act of grace. It's not based on whether or not you deserve it, but it's an act of love. For God so loved the world, that He gave his only begotten Son (John 3:16). Notice, God didn't just love, but so loved because there is no measure of his love. Everything God does is not based on how good you have been, but how good He is. While man was still in his sins it was God that offered the olive branch and that's his goodness.
As important as healing is it is not as important as salvation. It is not God's will that none should perish. And I wouldn't want to end this article without giving someone the opportunity to receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior. It's very easy just pray: Dear God- I know I have sinned and I now turn from them and I invite Jesus to come into my heart (Revelation 3:20). He died for my sins and you have raised him from the dead and I now confess that Jesus is my Lord and Savior (Romans 10:9,10). I thank you for saving me, Amen
There is physical healing and there is spiritual healing. It’s the latter that matters the most.
That is correct. Spiritual wounds are those we cause ourselves in what was once called sin. The only way to be healed of spiritual wounds is to bathe ourselves in the blood of Jesus, to fully confess our sins, be really sorry for them as the cause of Jesus’s torment on the cross, to develop a firm purpose of amendment, and to sin no more. And not to judge other sinners. For there but for the grace of God go we.
God can heal and does often heal, but not always because if he healed everybody then nobody would die
Yes, in the long term he got remolded into a man-god hybrid completely disconnected from reality.
A guy could really get beat up for telling it like it is.
If the Messiah believed the settled doctrines he wouldn't even recognize his own self.
The good news is that the real deal is filled with love, compassion, country charm, and last but not least -- common sense.
Group"think" is a real killer. All kinds of nebulous weirdness passes for truth that people then argue about 'til Kingdom come.
If a few folks truly want to turn about and be healed from the programming-paralysis, there's still a ray of hope.
King David can be thanked for great line-up of singers and musicians.
He included both kinds of music, Country *and* Western!
Unexpected.
We must understand that man suffers from original sin which brings illness and death. God can heal but we must recognize his permissive will as was the case with Job.
The overriding issue though is each person’s belief and trust in Christ’s complete and finished work as our savior.
[[God can heal and does often heal, but not always]]
Exactly- there were many cripples, blind folks, etc around, and Christ didn’t heal them all- as well, Paul was afflicted with something and asked several times to be healed and God said Nope- that his grace was sufficient for Paul
