Speaking at the Paris Peace forum, Pope Francis attacked the idea of a ‘return to normality', saying it would 'mean a return to the old social structures inspired by self-sufficiency, nationalism, protectionism, individualism and isolation.’

VATICAN CITY (LifeSiteNews) – In a message delivered to the globalist-linked Paris Peace forum, attended by pro-abortion and pro-LGBT leaders, Pope Francis decried any desire to “return to normality” which was marked by “injustice,” but instead calling for “a new way out.

The Pope’s message, delivered November 11 at the 4th Paris Peace Conference, claimed humanity was facing a “historic moment” and “a choice.”

We cannot ‘return to normality’

Pope Francis attacked the idea of “so-called ‘return to normality’,” as being one “in which wealth and economic growth were reserved for a minority,” and in which the earth was “trashed by myopic exploitation of resources, by pollution, by ‘throwaway’ consumerism.”

“A return to normality would also mean a return to the old social structures inspired by ‘self-sufficiency, nationalism, protectionism, individualism and isolation’ and excluding our poorest brothers and sisters,” Pope Francis stated. “Is this a future we can choose?”

Describing the world as “globalised but fractured,” Francis posited current “decisions” as “determin[ing] the ‘trajectory’ of future generations.”

“This is why we need a new way out; we must work together to emerge better than before,” he continued.”

Quoting John XXIII’s Pacem in Terris, Francis wrote that the first steps in this process would center on “a concrete collective commitment to full disarmament.”

While calling the COVID-era “the great storm that has shaken the world,” Francis proclaimed that it had revealed the “limitations and shortcomings of our societies and lifestyles.” He called for an ecumenical movement – “the Christian tradition, in particular the Church’s social teaching, as well as other religious traditions” – which would show.......

“nationalism, protectionism … and isolation”

A healthy nationalist doesn’t hate other countries or its people, he just wants to preserve his own nation’s identity and not allow it to dissolve into the mushy globaloney. I wonder what Catholic blue collar workers think of the condemnation of “protectionism” since they don’t want their good jobs shipped to countries with slave or cheap labor. “isolation” is just short of the word isolationism, a word used to tar those who don’t want their sons and daughters spilling their blood in one foreign adventure after another. It’s disappointing to me that the Holy Father seems to be adopting the language here of the globalist, One World Order, selfish Neocon greed heads who worship profits to the detriment of people. He needs to quit rubbing elbows so much with powerful, transnational, obscenely-wealthy, Godless Pro-Abortion types. Catholic Pat Buchanan started speaking to these issues in the 90s and they eventually helped Donald Trump become President.

He’s right about one thing , all we have been is not God’s way,, ie..the birds of the field dont sow or reap for food why does man? No religion has enough faith for that teaching..its saying Eden is our goal and all we have been was born of lies and false pride of man..or else the fruit would be good..its rotten, corrupt and oppressed

Sad part is he no longer looks to God for guidance, as being the vicar of christ is a lie, as replacing the Jews is a lie..he is a man, with no more knowledge than a salamander.. God will use his winepress to push us if needed towards Himself
Rod and staff, those close to him he hooks those running away he drives with his rod..

Yea we see the fake frail ways of man, but he needs the final lesson..only God knows, we all learn we know only what God gives us..
