Bonhoffer recognized Union as a pagan coven when he was a visiting scholar there in the 1930s. I once attended little country UMC church in North Florida (1970s) who had a temporary retired “pastor” who was a Union grad. I cannot recall even once having a Bible-based sermon, he was all about psychology and sociology. Nothing about him suggested even a passing knowledge of The Divine.
