The Cult of Abortion Under Biden

The Cult of Abortion Under Biden

Its celebration is a defining mark of his presidency.

One of Bill Clinton’s slippery slogans in the 1990s was that abortion should be “safe, legal, and rare.” But the Left never cared for the ambivalence about abortion that that slogan conveyed.

To counter that ambivalence, Planned Parenthood launched a campaign to celebrate abortion straightforwardly. It hawked T-shirts that said, “I had an abortion.” Abortion advocates such as Barbara Ehrenreich started writing openly about their own abortions. “You can blame a lot of folks, from media bigwigs to bishops, if we lose our reproductive rights, but it’s the women who shrink from acknowledging their own abortions who really irk me,” she wrote.

Alexander Sanger, the grandson of Planned Parenthood founder Margaret Sanger, urged feminists to drop any conflicted rhetoric about abortion and describe the unborn child as “not just an innocent life.” He wrote, “While it is the epitome of human destiny and the greatest potential joy that humanity can create, it is also a liability, a threat, and a danger to the mother and to the other members of the family. In order to survive, humanity has necessarily taken pre-born life to preserve other life all throughout its evolutionary history.”

Merle Hoffman, a self-described “abortion provider,” told Salon that “abortion is as American as apple pie” and cast her own abortion in heroic terms: “With my choice I was fighting for the right of all women to define abortion as an act of love: love for the family one already has, and just as important, love for oneself. I was fighting to reclaim abortion as a mother’s act. It was an act of solidarity as significant as any other I had committed.”

He (Biden) once supported the Hyde Amendment that prohibited such funding, but abandoned that support under pressure from Planned Parenthood.

When Margaret Sanger was in charge of PP, they didn’t actually advocate for abortions.

We are lucky now. According to libs men can have babies. So now a man should be able to impregnante himself and give birth. We no longer need women to do that. That should help cut down on abortions.

I keep asking libs to show me a video of a man having a live birth. I want to see what hole the baby comes out of, but they always shut down the conversation when I ask.

Pope Francis smiling and waving to the crowd with the abortion king. Can Catholics answer me one question:

What is wrong with this picture?

A better question:

that ARE NOT baby killing abortion loving leaders of their countries?

Not questioning your assertion. But why does the pope stand next to them? Why doesn’t he just go about the business of the church?

FYI, Murph, Biden was not POTUS at the time that publicity stunt was pulled off. He was not a world leader.

Furthermore when Catholic Pope Benedict XVI met with Biden's fellow murderer of babies, Nancy Pelosi, he refused to allow any photos to be taken.

See the difference, Murph???

Ok...nice... you still think biden has some integrity in there... he doesn’t....

Now answer the question....
Can you list any other world leader in the secular world protecting the unborn...???

Sure Viktor Orban of Hungary, whom Bergoglio tried to snub publicly.

And it is nice to see you only refer to Bergoglio as secular world leader. For once, you got it right.

The only reason politicians and national leaders see the Pope is they want access to the Vatican money laundering system.
