This reality suggests that the public snark and animus against Francis are of service to a larger agenda in place at EWTN, one still aligned with Mother Angelica’s distrust of Vatican II and those in the church of whom she said their “whole purpose is to destroy.”

Bergoglio has often bragged about never watching TV and only reading one newspaper (Italy’s commie rag La Repubblica), so how does he even know about EWTN’s polite but occasionally frank coverage of his sorry pontificate? I suppose that his minions have filled him on on the fact that Ray Arroyo once in a while provides a forum to Cardinals Burke. Mueller, Zen et al.
Like most petty dictators, he’s thin-skinned.

EWTN is not the ongoing voice of Mother Angelica who was never afraid of anyone, threatening to burn the station down rather than let the USCB or group of bishops have it. There was not one American bishop who supported Mother Angelica. But NC Reporter, the Jesuitical spin paper, is wrong that Mother disliked or reputiated V2 or the N.O. She repudiated the liberalism in the Church.

Gosh, when was the last time a Jesuit magazine like America rallied behind a pope? Not JP II, certainly, not Benedict. . . Ohhhhh. . . I think I see a pattern here. They're shocked, shocked to find Catholic stations like EWTN upholding the eternal truth, when the Pope and his (homosexual) friends so clearly and steadfastly deny it.

Whatever the active homosexual Jesuit James Martin says can be immediately discredited.

One day Mother Angelica will be canonized. Events show clearly that God wanted EWTN established and run the way she ran it.

Despite the drivel of Colleen, whoever that is, Mother Angelica was faithful to Our Lord and his Bride. Those who opposed her were cut from the same cloth as Bergoglio Satanspawn.

Even at this late date it is astonishing that anyone claiming to be a Catholic would defend the loathsome and satanic Los Angeles Cardinal Roger Mahony.

But NC Reporter, the Jesuitical spin paper, is wrong that Mother disliked or reputiated V2 or the N.O.

Once again, you're wrong, amihow:

Mother Angelica on the Latin Mass

“During the Latin Mass you had the missal if you wanted to follow it in English. It was almost mystical. It gave you an awareness of heaven, of the awesome humility of God who manifests Himself in the guise of bread and wine. The love that He had for us, His desire to remain with us is simply awesome. You could concentrate on that love, because you weren’t distracted by your own language.

“You could go anywhere in the world and you always knew what was going on. It was contemplative because as the Mass was going on you could close your eyes and visualize what really happened. You could feel it. You could look to the east and realize that God had come and was really present. The way it is today with the priest facing the people, its something between the people and the priest. Too often it’s just some kind of get-together and Jesus is all but forgotten.”

Ebb, I personally have no objection to TLM. I just have problems with people who attack V2 and N.O. like you do. And there enough people who do what you do, that it could seem like a
good idea to shut down TLM to a great degree. You could do a lot to keep TLM if you would respect V2, and N.O and go ahead criticize the a misuse of V2 et.al. .

Well then, amihow. You have problems with Mother Angelica and Pope Benedict.

What Benedict XVI thought about liturgical change

However, recently, he (Pope Benedict) lamented: “Anyone like myself, who was moved by this perception in the time of the Liturgical Movement on the eve of the Second Vatican Council, can only stand, deeply sorrowing, before the ruins of the very things they were concerned for.”

In the preface to the French edition of Monsignor Gamber’s book, then-Cardinal Ratzinger wrote that after the Council “we abandoned the organic, living process of growth and development over centuries, and replaced it — as in a manufacturing process — with a fabrication, a banal on-the-spot product”, and he called Monsignor Gamber “a true prophet” who “taught us about the living fullness of a true liturgy”.

I wouldn’t be doing these recent criticisms of VC II, if Bergoglio hadn’t started this war by using VC II as his excuse to attack the TLM.

It’ a war he has started, without provocation, and it will backfire.

Nothing wrong with fighting fire with fire, amihow.

The TLM will never die; it's the Mass of All Time, the Closest Thing this Side of Heaven.

The Bugnini/Montini Mass and VC II will die in due time.

Sorry Ebb, but do not let your enemy/Francis et.a l. pick the weapon. Orthodoxy available by past magisterial teaching is your best weapon imo. You seem to know it and have time and skills to burn his errors up with truth.

The Bogus Ordo Mass is like the bottlebrush bush with it's flowery blossoms, with a lifespan of 20-40 years.

The TLM is like the magestic, giant redwoods with a natural lifespan of 3,000-3500 years.

Enjoy your bottle brush, amihow, before it dies!
