I have, BTW, had an encounter IRL with a real, live Feeneyite. His whole case rested on a mistranslation of one word from Trent. (He translated “autem” as “and” rather than “or”.) A little (careless misapplication of) Latin can be a dangerous thing. ;-)
Not to mention the intentional mistranslations from Latin to the vernacular languages, i.e., "multis" to "all".
