Really? Find that in Scripture. Anywhere. Happiness is not at all guaranteed. Neither is liberation from sin.

He that handles a matter wisely shall find good: and whoso trusts in the Lord, happy is he.Proverbs 16:20.
So much for God not wanting you to be happy.

So much for God not liberating from sin and not making us victorious.
As in Jesus' day, so now, the Pharisees and Sadducees hate to see happiness, joy and liberation from sin. That is because they are so sad-you-see.
