“He that hateth dissembleth with his lips, and layeth up deceit within him” (Proverbs 26:24).
I looked up “dissimulation” according to Webster, and it is basically the same issue as with dissembling, so “he that hated dissembleth with his lips,” so that a man that hates God and hates the Bible, and hates it’s Authority; many times will pretend that they don't. This kind of dissimulation is rife in college seminaries. It is where a young man goes and under the pretext, under the dissembling façade, of being taught the Bible he is having the Bible removed from him. He is taught that that book is not the Word of God. That is dissembling.
And this is done all in the name of how much the professors love God. They are taking your money, and your kid’s money and teaching your kids that the Bible is not true, or that it doesn't mean what it says. And what is the sad result in many of our “Bible” preaching churches today?
They are pastored by men, and it doesn’t matter how hard they worked, or how dedicated their scholarship, and how much they want to please God, and how prayerful they are, or and how spiritual they are; they are blindly trying to just get their poor people the original readings of the word of God. It is true that they have given their life for their ministry, but they were duped in college and they were taught that he is the final authority, and not the Bible. They were dissembled by their teachers, and now they are dissembling their congregation.
“He that hateth dissembleth with his lips,” sometimes hatred manifests itself without any façade to where it's just plain open hatred. At least you know the jihadist Muslims hate you, you know exactly where you stand with them. The worrisome ones are those who pretend they don't hate you. Among this bunch are the sodomites who pretend to be nice folks. It says there, “He that hateth dissembleth with his lips,” you can expect, in general, the guy that hates you hates your God, hates your Saviour, and hates your Bible. You can usually expect for him not to spit and fume and curse and swear openly at you about it. You can expect for him to come in with smooth, slick, kind, words and deal with it that way.
“He that hateth dissembleth with his lips, and layeth up deceit within him.”
