With all due respect, you’re blind if you honestly think that trads’ “divisiveness” is the real problem right now. I’m sorry to say, but a schism is coming and it’s not coming from trads. Traditionis Custodes and the rumored Bergoglio-means-business follow-up order dissolving the FSSP etc. are all about clearing the decks for what’s to come. Are you unaware of the direction that the German synod is going? Women priests, same-sex marriage, same-sex-married clergy, acceptance of abortion. These things are coming to the Catholic Church just as they came to liberal protestantism, and anyone who thinks otherwise is either ignorant OR in denial OR onboard with it. When the revolution happens, you will either accept it or you will realize that trads weren’t the problem. And there will be a time of choosing. Quo vadis?
