Luigi Casalini of MessaInLatino.it (August 8) reports that after the summer an application document to Traditionis custodes will be released by the anti-Catholic Congregations for Liturgy and for the Religious.
This document is supposedly even more extreme. Futher, according to Casalini, the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith sent a July 22 letter to Old Rite monasteries and communities informing that from now on the Liturgy Congregation will be responsible for liturgical and the Congregation for the Religious for administrative matters.
The officials at the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith who were responsible for these Old Rite communities, were told to look for other jobs.

Considering that >90% of U.S. bishops have chosen not to strictly enforce TC, it wouldn’t surprise me at all if we see a “Bergoglio means business, boys” sequel. They could ratchet things up significantly by (1) specifically forbidding bishops from dispensing with the most burdensome requirements such as the ban on parish-church TLMs; and (2) demanding that groups like the FSSP also offer the Novus Ordo.
I wouldn’t be surprised if you are proved to be correct.
What’s ironic, is that Bergoglio, while he was Archbishop of Buenos Aires, refused to honor Pope Benedict’s motu proprio, Summorum Pontificum; yet now that he’s the dictatorpope, he demands complete obedience to his supression of the TLM.
Thus always with “liberals.” Disobedience for me but not for thee.
Can you provide documentation of the above? I find it highly unlikely.
It’s not a complete list, but traditioniscustodes.info has stats on 79 dioceses that have formally announced their plans regarding T.C. implementation. At the moment, in 72 dioceses of those diocese, it’s business as usual. Only 7 U.S. dioceses have shut down TLMs (McElroy in San Diego, Stowe in Lexington, Foys in Covington, Zubik in Pittsburgh, Schnurr in Cincinnati, Felton in Duluth and Taylor in Little Rock).
