No. Not Vatican real estate. The Vatican real estate is there for all to enjoy. St Peters is there with all its great inspiring art free to the public and Catholics already paid for free to visitors to inspire them/ us to worship God to do well, endure suffering, give back and give thanks.
You can talk about making us pay for the sins of those priests and church hierarchy by giving that up to overpay for court fees and criminal defense lawyers or the priests can live by poverty rules and get a public defender. Damages have to be paid as well. Let the hierarchy decide how to pay out of their pockets. Do not take it from the congregations who would never dream of condoning or supporting rapists
The families of those priests can sell off their own real estate. Those priests can go live in workhouses. Make them raise revenue
