Require priests to take a vow of celibacy - then leave them alone for hours with young altar boys. What could possibly go wrong?

Nothing, if the priests are not sexually attracted to young males.

Plenty, if the priests joined the priesthood to gain sexual access to young males.

To most heterosexual men, boys (and prepubescent girls) are simply not sexually attractive. There's no there there.

Well, men don’t get themselves locked up to gain access to other men - yet homosexuality is rampant in prisons.

It seems pretty obvious that many heterosexual men will resort to homosexuality rather than forego sex entirely.
