Jorge Mario Bergoglio is without a doubt the most arrogant pope in the history of the Catholic Church. From day one, if not before, it has always been about him -- whatever the subject. Labeled "humble" by the mainstream media due to token stunts such as carrying a bag and wearing polyester vestments, Bergoglio is in reality a man of vengeance. A pope of vengeance. An angry bitter Jesuit settling scores through vengeance.

In the nineteen eighties I was working in South America’s Southern Cone. Though not a Catholic, I was struck by two issues that roiled the Church in that period. One was Liberation Theology, which was brought to South America by failed European Jesuits. That battle is well known. The second was the absolute hatred that Catholic curate Lefebrve evoked with his movement to retain the Latin mass. As a non-Catholic I couldn’t understand why it was necessary to extirpate that mass. I still don’t understand it, but obviously the un-Christian hatred survives.
“Hold firm”... to what? It’s gone or will be shortly except for a few places like during the Indult.
