We already have one Pope emeritus. Maybe we could have two Popes emeriti. Or, even better,
can we swap him out for Pope Benedict? He’s tanned, rested and ready to go.

There is precedent for a Pope Benedict returning--Pope Benedict IX did so in the eleventh century.

Some of the cardinals who participated in the last conclave in 2013 have died or become too old to vote, but they have been replaced by cardinals chosen by Pope Francis, so I am not hopeful about who might be chosen in the next conclave.
