We’re all given a certain amount of time and ability which we exchange to gain other things, such as money, food, shelter, relationships, leisure, and pleasure. The scary thing is, it’s easy to fritter away your life, exchanging your time and abilities for things that really don’t matter, or even worse, for things that cause you and others great harm. Sometimes the bad bargain you make is so pivotal that it affects the rest of your life, and even has eternal consequences.
For example, a man decides to trade family time for business success. He loses his wife and children. Bad bargain! A Christian leader decides to exchange some of his time for sexual pleasure outside of his marriage. It costs him his ministry, a lot of family pain, and greatly damages the cause of Christ. Really bad bargain! It costs far more than it provides.
Every day you’re trading your life‑your soul‑for something. The question is, For what? When it’s all over and you’ve cashed in all the time and abilities which have been allotted to you, what will you have to show for it?

It has gotten old hearing from ministers sermonizing about the man (never the woman) who works too hard. In many corporations, if you do not progress in your career, you are weeded out in subsequent downsizings. A similar dynamic exists with privately owned businesses who have increasing pressures in order to keep the business operating. These same ministers never combine this message during their giving sermons. Have you ever heard one say they would prefer you donate less, and take more time off?
Also, it is always the man who sins. Women never sin by themselves. It is always partially a mans fault. Single mons have been “abandoned” by a man. 70% of divorces are filed by women but it is the man who cheated who caused the divorce. Never anything the woman what the woman may have done, and never any acknowledgment it takes another woman to cheat.
It is easy to see why more women then men go to church.
Sorry for the rant but I just got back from a family reunion where all the little girls were referred to princesses and the little boys largely just criticized. The church doesn’t do a thing, except get on the bus.

“For Wales? Why Richard, it profit a man nothing to give his soul for the whole world...but for Wales?” - Sir Thomas More, “A Man for All Seasons”
Man’s rights: ALWAYS use condoms and slap on spermicide jelly. ALWAYS. Works %100 of the time!(ALWAYS worked for me). This what I tell my sons, as much as they dislike it.
Then take your condom, tie it up, put it in your pocket, and leave.(Or hide it very well).
No matter what the woman says. No matter what they say. They lie. So you get your child aborted or you have 20 years of child support, if which you don’t pay, you go to jail.
Debtor’s prisons abolished? NOT true. Man up! Take your rights back! Take your sperm WITH you!

Honest observation, all the way around.
As a former Sunday School teacher, there are so many excuses women offer up for their actions. I taught a Woman’s Sunday School class, and was constantly reminding the women that they were responsible for their actions, as well.
My beloved and I opted to attend separate classes and as a result were looked at as if we were infectious at times. And he would keep asking the older men in the classes where were the single men who were hurting....those men needed to be in church getting reached. Silence. Every time, silence.
And let me tell you...... the married men were often scared silly of saying anything honest. Scary, actually.
I saw first hand women who drove their husbands to divorce by the actions of the wife and after the divorce the man/men would be considered scum.
Oddly enough, if a deacon was a .... um....bad man (really, truly bad), it was awful seeing how he could play everyone against the wife because the wife wouldn’t dare talk bad about her husband in public. Knew one woman who almost died because of a bleeding ulcer because of hidden stress that only came out after she collapsed....
It’s bad on both sides........ the average woman in the church, though, can ruin a man.....seen it done...way too often.
I know. Churches are for those who are hurting.... Social churches don’t teach the Truth anymore and traditional churches and be just as bad in their own way....
My beloved husband goes to church by himself and I watch church online. He will tell anyone who asks, “How you doing?” that as they don’t know him, and they don’t ask for sincerity it’s none of their business.
He has no intention of being pushed into any particular group or class...just wants to hear the Word.
Off my soapbox.
