The Credo of the Catholic Democrats

They issue a declaration of independence from Church teaching.

Rep. Ted Lieu, May 16, 2015

lmost 60 Catholic Democrats in the U.S. House of Representatives recently released a statement declaring their “principles.” The statement is a classic illustration of modern liberalism’s one-sided conception of church-state relations: the church should never lecture the state, but the state is free to lecture the church. The statement is also a snapshot of the pitiful imbalance of power and confusion in the Catholic Church: heretics, far from fearing clerics, feel emboldened to instruct bishops on what they can and cannot do.

Enjoying the protection of the media and exploiting the divisions in the Church, heretical Catholic politicians can grandstand with impunity. Congressman Ted Lieu’s (D-Calif.) hotdogging tweet to the bishops captures the mood of the moment:

The boldness of the heretics grows in proportion to the timidity of the bishops...

I am more Catholic than any of them, and if you asked my Lutheran pastor, he would agree.

“the church should never lecture the state, but the state is free to lecture the church”

In case you do not recognize the essence of the above, this is CRITICAL THEORY from the Frankfurt School / Cultural Marsism at work.

Specificaly, it is CRITICAL CHURCH/RELIGION THEORY . The LEFT does not believe in religion, therefore churches have to be done away with as well as any one who is a religion believer. Non-Left people must never be critized, The Right must always be criticed, even if it is a lie being used in the criticism

My paternal grandfather was Lutheran and converted to Catholicism to marry my grandmother. My maternal grandfather was Methodist and converted to Catholicism on his deathbed. Both men were more Catholic than the present occupant of the Vatican or any Democrat politician calling himself or herself a Catholic.

“ heretics, far from fearing clerics, feel emboldened to instruct bishops on what they can and cannot do.”

And the bishops have FAILED miserably to stand against evil. They are content to become complicit instead of just worthless and spineless.

In the end, Biden, Pelosi, Lieu, etc. will answer to God Almighty, and he will not listen to their garbage. So it does not matter what they are saying today.

These “Catholic” politicians essentially demand no other gods before them. Then they dare church officials (Pope included) to oppose. When Bishops offer little but tepid pushback, this proves IMHO... ALL of them are textbook examples of taking the Lord’s Name in vain (forbidden in Exodus 20:7).

They demand communion yet show zero intention of following any teachings but their own (little “g” god as per Genesis 3:5). Have they have sunk to the reprobate mind as observed by Apostle Paul in Romans 1:22-32? I fear so.
