Earlier this month Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán—long maligned by the Brussels machine as an authoritarian reactionary inside the ever-so-progressive European Union—gave an interview to the Croatian Catholic weekly Glas Koncila (The Voice of the Council, 20 June 2021). Orbán made several important points in the course of this interview: on the civilizational challenges currently facing Europe (including immigration), on national sovereignty challenged by Brussels, and on the nature of politics in the 21st century. No politician in such a position of authority in any EU member country has had the vision and the courage to talk and act like the Hungarian prime minister. [Excerpts translated from Croatian by S. Trifkovic]

The True Leader of the Free World
On my bucket list as a place to visit.
Been there once, definitely will go back.
I have a bit of dog in this fight. My daughter sleeping soundly in her room is a Hungarian citizen. Because of that I have the right to live there. The place is corrupt beyond your imagination BUT at least the leadership, more like a kleptocracy, is he$& bent on keeping Hungary Hungary. Damn the US and the EU.
And they like many Latin Americans are rabidly anti-communist. Don’t even get me started with people who lost loved ones to Communists in Latin America..these people want to kill communists with a dull knife. Slowly.
Yep. He has the courage to loudly tell the truth, unlike most western spineless eunuchs who call themselves leaders.
