Except you guys are the ones have been wrong time after time after time. Daniel isn’t “clearly” talking about the future in the sense that he may have been speaking about the early 21st century. That’s just nuts, dude.
Who’s “you guys” ???
Daniel isn’t “clearly” talking about the future in the sense that he may have been speaking about the early 21st century.
Daniel and John were shown a panorama of events leading up to the end of the earth. They identified, in prophetic language, specific events and players that we are, IN NO UNCERTAIN TERMS, told to study and understand. I just showed that to you directly from the two main books of prophecy. We know there will be a second coming from Jesus Christ. No one, except God the Father, knows the day or the hour. But, we are specifically told to watch for it and be ready, AND, TO NOT BE DECIEVED. Jesus told us that, Himself. Just like Daniel, “us guys” study, pray, and watch. Daniel was told that he was NOT at the time of the end……
Daniel 12: 9And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.
Certain people are given “wisdom to understand.” How did the wise men know when and where Jesus would be born? There is no doubt in my mind that they used Daniel 9 specifically for the time and Micah 5 for the exact city (Bethlehem). And then, there was the star that guided them. I like this summation that I found on the internet: “So, the magi were men who 1) read and believed God’s Word, 2) sought Jesus, 3) recognized the worth of Christ, 4) humbled themselves to worship Jesus, and 5) obeyed God rather than man. They were truly wise men!”
The questions are, who’s wise and who knows the correct interpretation of prophecy?
For all the shortcomings that my whackjob PTR friends have, I agree with them that the end is near. I personally believe in the theory of the millennium being a sabbath rest and approximately 6000 years being the timeframe, when at the end, Christ will return. Do I know exactly? No I don’t. But, I do know we are close. I know the players and the issues and I’m watching them right now. I also know that those who break God’s law do not have wisdom and will never receive it and therefore will never be able to have a correct understanding of biblical prophecy. Many of the world’s “Christians” are lawbreakers and most of them couldn’t care less about prophecy (Catholics). Many Protestants follow suite. They say that keeping God’s commandments is legalism AND that it’s otherwise impossible to keep them, even though the bible says otherwise. Their biggest hang up is the 7th day Sabbath commandment BTW.
Psalms 111:10: The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.
Ecclesiastes 12: 13Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
14For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
Revelation 14: 12Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
Revelation 22: 14Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
It is undeniable that those who will understand and who will be in heaven, have faith that Jesus Christ is their savior, AND are commandment keepers. AND, a “correct” interpretation of prophecy puts us now at the time of the end. 21st century? Maybe, probably. I’ll know for sure when one single event happens. I’ll be sure to remind you when it does. Then I’ll know the end is just a few short years after that, because I follow PROPHECY. Satan has been setting this world up for his appearance with the one of the greatest lies ever told, that being the PTR. You don’t have to believe me. But if I were you I would keep it in the back of my mind.
