Is there a credible source for the story? New York Times - the story might or might not be true.
In the early 50’s I got the NYT Sunday paper for my grandmother after Sunday school in upstate NY. Then we went to my grandfather’s grave. After both WWII and the Korean War my father went back on active duty. I would not buy that trash rag today.
