You’re absolutely right. Throw in scouting and the military. I’m hard-pressed to come up with a single prominent civic or cultural institution that hasn’t been corrupted. The Mormons maybe? I’m not a fan of the LDS doctrine or dogma or of their prominent exponents like Mittens Romney, but, from the outside at least, it doesn’t seem like the Mormons are pushing leftist and LGBT-ism.
