This is a bogus wedge issue. All good Catholics understand the concept of Christian charity. Some poor Catholics don’t understand or are not willing to accept that part of charity which requires them to inform to those who stray from the faith exactly where they’ve gone wrong, that they must cease doing so and, together with confession, that they must sincerely repent of it. Father James Martin, S.J. has a way of confirming these poor Catholics in that way of thinking, hence the “wedge” drives those poor Catholics even farther from the One True Faith and from the rest of us with whom they are supposed to be in communion.
I've heard that before: open borders, too, because we're good Samaritans.
