I don't see a Christian allegory in "Return of the Archons".

"Return of the Archons" is a Star Trek trope about the dangers technology has on individuality and humanity. In these episodes, Kirk often convinces the technology to self-destruct.

I have never seen a computer self-destruct when stuck in a loop or faced with a contradiction. System crashes and reboots when a division by zero error occurs, sure, but not the sparks and smoke and fire that routinely happens in these sorts of stories.

Besides "Star Trek", consider the Prisoner episode "The General" and the "Logan's Run" movie.
