SANTA FE, New Mexico, May 20, 2021 (LifeSiteNews) – New Mexico’s Archbishop ordered in new “liturgical restriction” guidelines released yesterday that only vaccinated people can sing in church choirs and only priests or laity who have been vaccinated can distribute Holy Communion on the tongue.
“Singing is allowed by choirs only, whose members are to all have been fully vaccinated,” state the Archdiocese of Santa Fe’s May 19 guidelines that were promulgated by Archbishop John C. Wester.
Regarding Communion on the tongue, the guidelines state that Catholics may receive Communion in this way as long as the “distributing minister is fully vaccinated.” Another stipulation for Communion on the tongue is that the “distributing minister sanitizes his/her hands prior to and immediately after distribution.”
The Archdiocese of Santa Fe’s “COVID-19 Response Team” states that the guidelines come “in response” to the state’s May 14 Public Health Order. The Department of Health’s health order deals with the topic of face masks for those who are fully vaccinated and outlines reopening protocols. At no point does the order mention choirs or ministers of Holy Communion.
The bishop’s order also states that “Masks are to continue to be worn by all except celebrants, deacons, lectors, cantors, and choir members while performing their respective vocal liturgical functions.”

Must be another follower of the current Pope (the left hand of Satan), and a secular follower of our insane, power mad governoress. Last time I went to catholic church (in NM), The priest was BEGGING people to to join the choir, or at least sing along from the ‘general audience’.

The vaccinated people won’t get it. The unvaccinated can get it from each other, theoretically, which is a risk they are willing to take. So if everyone has taken the risk level they are comfortable with, and no one is going to get it unless they knew the risk... why separate people?
I think the vaccinated fear the vaccine is not as effective as advertised and they are still susceptible to the WuFlu.
I have a nephew and niece, both fully vaccinated, who now have Covid.
I miss singing in my choir. But, holding a shot out like a carrot, uh, nope.

I would be finding another church choir to be part of. Unfortunately many churches of today are sounding more and more like the churches in the Book of Revelation that Jesus had strong words for.
Yes, and idiocy abounds within the Church too. Next will be that only those who have been vaccinated can come to Christ and ask for forgiveness, etc.........
Getting covid is the least of their problems. There are horror stories about blindness, deafness, paralysis and death in people that have gone 14 months or so and didn’t catch covid. They all ran out and got the jabs to make themselves sick or worse. Proof that mass brain washing techniques work.
It’s not a vaccine. This latter stage of the Covid scam is sickening and pure madness. This virus ran its course irregardless of the manipulation of political forces in science. What is to fear is future effects of the jabs, varients of Covid and most of all the same political and scientific forces who created the scamdemic.
